It was one snowy day right after the storm hit the city. The weather was freezing cold and sunny and the road was extremely messy. I had to get up from the bed at 8 am and dressed up for Kung Fu Panda 3 screening event with Kate Hudson and Lucy Liu, by www.themoms.com but that was not what excited me; the only reason to why I had the enthusiasm to get up and dress early in the morning in a freezing weather was the opportunity to learn from Cherie Corso. Cherie is an innovative founder of G2 Organics www.g2organics.com, blogger www.cheriecorso.com, mom, and of course my boss! G2 Organics? Are you sure they are true organics? Yes my dear, I can assure you they all are organics, odorless, and colorless. You know what I love about odorless products? First, they are not too confident that we would accept their choice of scent. Second, we can add our scent to the product. For example, you can spray your favorite perfume on the spot where you apply the Hickey Stick. Your perfume will last longer and get much stronger because the Hickey Stick traps the molecules so they do not evaporate as much as they would without the Hickey Stick.
Its so true the arts transcend people and places. The MoMA had to be one of the most glamorous and exciting places in NYC to be! I went with my daughter, to support the arts. As a mother and On Air Parenting Expert, arts and my work go hand and hand in our household, inspiration comes in so many forms and it pops out brings happiness to all areas of our life. The arts have so many benefits for adults and children, from reducing stress, to aid in real life problem solving, art education strengthens problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. The experience of making decisions and choices in the course of creating art carries over into other parts of our life. Art is a way of making things better! I love creating and the creatives of the world, as you can see me on the far left in pink having a great conversation about the beautiful event. The food, guests, the atmosphere were amazing.
What? Kids drink beer, women threw bricks in butchers window when they raised the prices. Yes learn all about the history of the tenements and how it all started. We loved it, it was our second visit and the impact it made on the kids and myself is a great experience. I think its a eye opener when your actually sitting in the space where it all happened. This is something you can read about but going through the process makes it real and has the impact on you and your kids. http://www.tenement.org/tours.php

Family-run stores filled the lower level of 97 Orchard for over a century, where they struggled to adapt to an ever-changing neighborhood and achieve the American Dream. Visit the 1870s German saloon of John and Caroline Schneider, and use interactive media to trace the stories of turn-of-the-century kosher butchers, a 1930s auctioneer, and 1970s undergarment discounters.
After the educational trip take a walk over to Little Italy and dine at original Benito One, you will be greeted by the owner world famous James Bari and served by MARCO, the best waiter in NYC. He knows how to treat a customer! The menu is traditional and has not changed in years as respect to the chef and tradition. and the food is absolutely outstanding. This restaurant is a classic, can not be duplicated, the original is all part of the experience. Benito One has been featured in many iconic movies and TV show's like the Soprano's http://www.sopranos-locations.com/locations/Benito-one/

Molly Sims, Unleash the Super Model in YOU! The Everyday Supermodel: My Beauty, Fashion, and Wellness Secrets Made Simple
Molly Sims was so real and beautiful at a lunch I attended and she hosted by The Mom's in New York City at Artistanal, 2 Park Ave.Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro | New York French Restaurant
Molly wore her hair a high ponytail, it was her real hair, I did not see any clips, LOL. My hair on the otherhand needed a little somethin, I did do beach waves but my hat killed it walking up Park Ave to Artistanal. Molly accessorized with wore a chunky statement necklace that highlighted her gorgeous face.
The ex-model and yoga enthusiast looked amazing in a bright red swing dress by Lisa Perry. Ms Perry's designs frequently nod back to the mod 60s and groovy 70s. This center-seamed swing dress. I swear I almost wore the same (I SWEAR!!) dress, its not a maternity dress.
Molly, while 5 feet, 10 inches, wore classic pumps in black. They showed off her yoga legs, no stockings in winter, and her legs looked great, good motivation looking at her. I was surrounded by talent, the movie producer and filmmaker of 40 Weeks was also dinning with us, I have to watch this movie sounds fasinating, again the name is 40 Weeks, the Pregnancy Documentary Big Belli, MomLifeTV believes in the power of women and the strength of Mom. This 2013 Webby Award Honoree promotes 40 Weeks.
I read Molly's book and its perfect, she shares, she tells all the modeling secrets. Being a former model, I love this book its a reminder of taking care of yourself, never giving up and how to cover the flaws. Its perfection! I always use two BB creams in different shades, she does the same!! Talking about sharing, I met the founders of Moxy and Main. Its a websight that three smart savey women created,it is a national destination for the fiercely fabulous mom. Check us out for exclusive events, great content, giveaways, and so much more. The Olympics are a great activity for families to watch together and can also offer a number of valuable lessons for kids get kids YEAH I love watching personally but the leasons that are taught to people around the world transcend every age and generation, they resinate with everybody!
These are a just a few off the top of my head as a MOM!
1.The importance of exercise- The Olympics are a great time to expose your children to some new ideas for exercising and to encourage them to try a new sport. After Im finished watching the athletes on TV, I personally want to book a ski trip, or have a little fun with the kids by sliding down the stairs in a sleeping bag! So much fun, put pillows in the landing area. Create your own activities inspired by our favorites.
2. Goal setting-The Olympic athletes have spent many hours and many years training in their sport. They didn’t become world-class athletes overnight but rather through a lot of training, perseverance and goal setting. Kids always want instant gradification, but the sthletes and the stories paint a picture of hard work. Goals for something they want to accomplish. This could be within a sport or in a different activity such as getting good grades, excelling at a musical instrument, or learning to paint. They don’t have to be an Olympian to be successful, but these athletes can definitely serve as good role models for your kids on what it looks like when you set your mind to something and persevere.
3.Sportsmanship- The Goal of the Olympics is to take home a medal for your country, we all know that. Not everyone can be a winner and this is an important lesson for kids to learn. Watch how the athletes in the Olympics react to winning and losing and how they treat their opponents and use this as an example for your kids between good and bad sportsmanship. I loved the example of sportmanship set by Shaun White http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/blogsinternet/57534686-71/halfpipe-shaun-gold-decision.html.csp
4. Diversity and Acceptance– Today, more than ever, kids interact with people of differing ethnicities, religions, and cultures. But how do you teach them to embrace and thrive among the planet's many cultures? I still can't believe being GAY is even a issue in sports, and life. maybe because I have friends that are gay and just look at people for people, Im still in shock on Russia 's views. But this Olympics has opened up conversation around the world, use it as a teaching experience.
5.The Mental Games- The Mental Games are part of sports! The determination and how to handle the pressure against showcases perseverance, goal setting and offers another opportunity to talk to your kids about accepting people who are different than them. That what makes a Olympian to be able to handle and preform under the pressure. BBC Olymic Sports picture Oshie
