Amar’e Stoudemire knicks player at MBFW sings! BY JULIA CORS0(my daughter)

Knicks stylish player, Amar'e Stoudemire  sang to blurred lines by Robin Thicke as he watched the  The Strut fashion show  for stylish Mom's. Is he a fan of the Thicke??

                                     @djfluano
At the Strut fashion show in Lincoln Center last night , during   NYC fashion week Knicks player Amar'e Stoudemire showed up to support his family at the  STRUT for a cause show for stylish MOM's by Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein.
During the fashion show Knicks player started to sing to "Blurred Line" by Robin Thicke, I watched him as he sang along.  Is music his next career after basketball?  IM not one  to spread roumers but when, "We Can't Stop" played by Miley Cyrus stared he lost his mojo and went back to looking like professional  basketball  player  and DAD,so I'm guessing that he saw her performance at the VMAS, like my Mom and DAD and was not happy about her performance. Anyway he  liked the show, high fived and was very friendly to everyone  who wanted  pics. Now let's get real look at what he was wearing, ok he was rocking those shades he was wearing, black dark sunglasses  he was cool, he had a blonde streak in his hair. I liked his style, it was cool. He was proud of his family like my Dad is of me!                                                         me Julia singing to blurred lines

The SMURFS 2 fun for the whole family! by Cherie Corso

Visual comedy, life lesson and cute little blue guys is a winning formula for cast and  Raja Gosnell  the director of The Smurfs 2. I saw the movie in NYC at a blue carpet screening, it was very exciting for my  daughter to meet the smurfs, okay I loved it too, they were so cuddly and cute!!  Hank Azaria who played Gargame was there too, he kills me, I have liked him since his roll in Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts, remember??  He walked into the room  with out a cape and said "Hello my little Smurfs", my ten year old loved it, some of the kids got scared but it was so funny. YES YES I wanted a picture, but  we stepped back and let the photogs do their thing. We took the moment, sometimes like all of us   we take everything  in through  camera, so we stayed in the moment and I just felt the energy. Honestly I was  "NY COOL" with Hank but could not contain myself when I ran in to Dan Abrams  legal analyst at  Dan Abrams (danabrams) on Twitter   ABC News Good Morning America  with his family. He is just a nice smart  man,

I had to give him a crystal for continued  positive energy.  I just respect his legal opinion on  cases he always breaks it down and has a logical point of view. I just appreciate his authentisy  vs some of the blow hards I see and hear on TV.  Anyhow back to the movieThe Smurfs 2 | Official Movie Site | Sony Pictures

The Smurfs  have been just smuffing since their 2011 big-screen outing, but there’s trouble stirring in their new adventure-comedy that will require their mix of  optimism and silly enthusiasm to resolve the wraith of Sorcerer Gargamel (Hank Azaria).

The movie had a vibe of happiness, and beloning to a family. I enjoyed the NewYork City scenes and Katy Perry   Katy Perry (katyperry) on Twitterwas just  the perfect! We all went to the   party  at Dylan's Candy Bar.

Summer is sweeter at Dylan's Candy Bar

Sony Pictures | The Best in Movies, TV Shows, Games & Apps

The birthday of Smurfette’s (Katy Perry)   KATY PERRY // Official Website //  presents the opportunity for her to recall her conflicted origins – rather than a “true-blue” Smurf, I just love the picture above from the LA  event in THE SUN, she was actually Gargamels daughter and raised by Popa Smurf. Because she was always shown unconditional love and respect she was a true Smurf, but always had bad dreams about not being "a real Smurf". Gargamel (Hank Azaria)Hank Azaria (HankAzaria) on Twitter, has a evil plan to kidnap her from her enchanted-forest home to obtain the formula for the magical Smurf-essence that Papa Smurf (Jonathan Winters) used to originally blessed her with blue skin. Once he has the secret, Gargamel plans to power up a host of Naughties, Smurf-sized creatures he’s created, to help him take over the world. The kids in the theater loved and feared Gargamel. It reminded me of how I felt about Crella de Vil the antagonist from 101 Dalmatians.

So he sent  his Naughty daughter Vexy      (Christina Ricci)http://www.christinaricci.ws  to drag Smurfette through a magic portal and into the real world where he can  toy and manipulate her inherent identity issues. Papa Smurf and his mismatched extraction team consisting of Grouchy (George Lopez),http://www.christinaricci.ws Clumsy (Anton Yelchin) and Vanity (John Oliver) will have to portal to the live-action world to reunite in Paris with his beautiful sweet young family of Patrick (Neil Patrick Harris)  Neil Patrick Harris (NPHnews) on Twitter   and Grace (Jayma Mays) Winslow, their live-action counterparts from the original movie, if they’re to have any chance of rescuing Smurfette.

Belgian Smurfs comic-strip originator PierreCulliford adds some visual interest, with Paris as the backdrop for the Smurfs’ rescue and recovery mission, I did enjoy the backdrop of Paris but NYC is where the action is. I loved the use of crystals in the movie, finally the recognition of the power of crystals in being recognizes. Thank YOU!

The Smurfs director Raja Gosnell (Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Scooby Doo) understand the power of cuteness, and deliverers with the Smurfs’ big-screen return. With the understanding of entertaining adults and kids he entertained us the audience enjoyed  repeating lines, gags and life lessons. I likes the Smurf "talk" and the silliness, of the adjectives as names.  I was able to sit back with my family and relax as well as be entertained.  OMG I almost forgot to tell you to watch for this part….the "apartment scene" is so funny at the beginning of the movie with narsistic, self absorbed, parenting scene, when they give the little boy a Birthday party, is very funny. It personifies the "kookiness" and need for "PC" in parent's minds . I loved it, I wanted to jump up and scream YES YES see how nutty it's gotten.

In his final film role, Jonathan Winters reprises the beneficent Papa Smurf with the requisite twinkle in his voice, but compassionately understands Katie Perry’s bewildered, wounded and ultimately outraged Smurfette. Harris and Mays, as the parents of a young boy appropriately named “Blue” (JacobTremblay), acquit themselves good-natured enough, although it's Brendan Gleeson as Patrick’s well-intentioned but misunderstood stepfather, Vince Winslow, who is my favorite, shines throughout the movie even when he is a bird he is hysterical. Azaria ahain makes the movie, he is  brilliant  as the bumbelling wizard with the bad teeth.  The  unrelenting, team of Smurf rescuers featuring Lopez  George Lopez (_George_Lopez__) on Twitter  , Yelchin and Oliver were very funny.

Overall I loved this movie and also check out my favorite The Moms in Chicogo at the MAMARAZZI EVENT, http://themoms.com They were fantastic!

How to protect your hair from Chlorine!! By Julia Corso

As a kid who loves to swim and spends a lot of time in the pool. I notice as temperatures climb , I find myself going for a cold dunk  in the pool. Swimming is most peoples  favorite summer activity. It's a body workout thats fun. But there is one bad side about swimming in the pool, it has so much chlorine

"Chlorine is used as a disinfectant to kill harmful bacteria in the water. This keeps you from getting sick from E. coli and other nasty germs, but it also strips out the natural oils that protect your hair from damage and daily wear. Since I don't want my hair to turn into hay, I've learned to coat my strands with hair product before I jump into the pool." – MIN-JA LEE

so i have some tips so that cant happen

1. put coconut oil in hair before and after swim

2.try Pantene pro-v bb cream

3. shower imidetely after swim shampoo and condition an leave condoner until next swim TRY ONES BELOW

Ear Candling, Restore Balance Tap into YOUR inner power!! by Cherie Corso

Ear candling feel so good and you will be shocked when you see what comes out! I know it sounds scary to some when I say Im going to put a candle in your ear and light it on fire. Let me explain the history. "Ear candling/coning can be understood as an ancient healing modality – Atlantean, Mayan, Egyptian, Tibetan – which has many other healing practices, periodically spent time in "hiding". It was originally used in conjunction with initiation practices for spiritual leaders in order to strengthen their positions a s bearers of great truths and as beacons of light in the darkness. Ear coning was used to open the spiritual centers and to clear and cleanse the physical as well as emotional and other auric bodies. It was used in conjunction with other healing practices and assumed a co-creative position with these practices. Traditionally, conings were performed by master energetic healers who worked on the physical as well as intermediate planes.Conings were performed in the temples and usually occurred in a series of three, spaced strategically apart. The number of conings performed was individualized and depended upon either the amount of clearing which was necessary and/or the spiritual appetite of each person. Although seven conings were average, at times, as many as eleven conings were performed. Nine and eleven conings were considered to be aligned with the master numbers in numerology. Receiving nine or eleven conings symbolized achieving human perfection toward universal service Ear conings worked upon the physical body by detoxifying the sinus, lymphatic and other systems. Among other things, they provided clarity of hearing and vision, improvement in the sense of smell, taste and color perception as well as emotional stability and sharer mental functioning. In addition to working upon the physical body, coning worked directly with the chakra system to clear an strengthen the auric bodies as well. Traditionally, the first seven conings worked to clear and strengthen the physical body and the first seven layers of the auric field. Each coning would ALWAYS affect the physical body and then affect whichever auric layer needed most to be cleared at that moment. For example, the first coning affected the physical body and either the first auric layer (etheric body) or the second auric layer (the emotional body) or the third auric layer (the mental body-thought forms) or the fourth auric layer (the astral body) or the fifth auric layer (the etheric template-associated with sound healing) or the sixth auric layer (the emotional level of the spiritual plane) or the seventh auric layer (the mental level of the spiritual plane-past life band and present life plan). In Egypt, however. at various times, auric bodies were intercepted and provoked to release blocked energy in a sequence. For example, the first coning affected the physical body and the first auric layer, the second coning affected the physical body and the second auric layer and so on through the first seven conings. The eighth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh conings were performed in order to clear and strengthen the physical body and those bodies in the cosmic plane of existence – those crystalline bodies composed of extremely fine, high vibrations. These conings were thought to totally purify the physical body and to fine tune the auric field in order to allow one to resonate in the purist from in preparation for supreme service. It must be realized that coning was done simultaneously and coordinated with advanced haling practices using color, crystal, sound, and other soon to be revealed methods, to correct the obstructed natural flow of energy, balance the system, realign the spinal structure and cleans the body. These healing processes ritualistically purified individuals, allowing them to resonate to the highest vibrational frequencies. Realize, also, that upon your earth plane at this time, the number of conings required by individuals will be directly related to any other healing processes to which they are simultaneously exposed. I do ear cadling, in conjuction with Chakra Clearing. Many spa are now offering this servive. My favorite is Nicholas Day Spa and Salon in Pelham, NY. You will feel great!! No chemicals, all natural, gets the cob webs out and the energy flowing!
