Kung Fu Panda 3, opens today in theaters, I had a sneak preview. I especially liked this move because I’m a  Reiki Master and spiritual junkie, I believe in Karma, energy from the universe and trusting your chi.  I do believe this is the best Kung Fu Panda movie.  Everyone agreed, The Moms, press, bloggers, kids, we all loved it. I especially liked when we got up close and personal with Kate Hudson and Lucy Liu. Yes ladies they were great, very open and answered all our questions.

My favorite “The Moms” with our daughters at the Mamarazzi® event celebrate  a pop up store in Union Square, NYC. It was a great evening, fashion, music, health wellness with lots of smiles all embracing the culture of at the ivivva (ih-vee-vah) which is  actually a word made up. Ivivva believes that both the logo and the name represent the strength and beautiful individuality in all girls.

We watched a great fashion show, mingled, ate healthy and all oowed and awed at the fantastic models who did flips and cartwheels down the runway. One of our favorite models was 4 year old Gia also featured  School Yard Style.  Ivivva connects girls through movement and encourage them to dream big.

ivivva sparks and connects a global community of brave, compassionate and adventurous girls – to get involved, support each other and impact the world around them in their own unique way.

I personally love LuLuemon, and have been wearing for years, and they still look great. We also shopped the latestest fashions and were treated very very well!

IMG_2090I had a amazing breakfast with The Moms at The Hunt and Fish Club in NYC, the breakfast was delicious, but meeting Hugh again was amazing. He is so dreamy, sweet, sexy, smells great  tall and a family guy. When he talks I don't think there was a women in the room that was not smitten with him. I'm so happy he survived his bout with skin cancer. The sun seems so much stronger now then I remember it as a child. As Mom's know we all need to cover up but man this hit home when I met and had breakfast with Hugh Jackman, he spoke about his skin cancer. He wants to raise awareness of the growing skin cancer problem. Hugh Jackman spoke about his native Australia, the ozone layer is thinner than in most other locations and the rates of skin cancer are higher. Shockingly in the U.S.A. the numbers are still high, with a chance of one in five Americans getting skin cancer, and a one in two chance among people who never wear sunscreen, according to Jackman.IMG_2364

“No one should ever have skin cancer; it’s all about protection and spotting it early,” he said.

My heart sank while he spoke about his conquering skin cancer and and about ways in which the number of skin cancer cases can be lowered. She is expecting her second child, and first girl in only two months. Baby girl will join brother Brooks Allan Stuber and daddy, Scott Stuber. She was signing and promoting her new book  The Everyday Supermodel: My Beauty, Fashion, and Wellness Secrets Made Simple

Molly wore her hair a high ponytail, it was her real hair, I did not see any clips, LOL. My hair on the otherhand needed a little somethin, I did do beach waves but my hat killed it walking up Park Ave to Artistanal. Molly accessorized with wore a chunky statement necklace that highlighted her gorgeous face.

The ex-model and yoga enthusiast looked amazing in a bright red swing dress by Lisa Perry. Ms Perry's designs frequently nod back to the mod 60s and groovy 70s. This center-seamed swing dress. I swear I almost wore the same (I SWEAR!!) dress, its not a maternity dress.IMG_8202

Molly, while 5 feet, 10 inches, wore classic pumps in black. They showed off her yoga  legs, no stockings in winter, and her legs looked great, good motivation looking at her.  I was surrounded by talent, the movie producer and filmmaker of  40 Weeks was also dinning with us, I have to watch this movie sounds fasinating, again the name is 40 Weeks, the Pregnancy Documentary Big Belli, MomLifeTV believes in the power of women and the strength of Mom. This 2013 Webby Award Honoree promotes 40 Weeks. 

I read Molly's book and its perfect, she shares, she tells all the modeling secrets. Being a former model, I love this book its a reminder of taking care of yourself, never giving up and how to cover the flaws. Its perfection! I always use two BB creams in different shades, she does the same!! Talking about sharing, I met the founders of Moxy and Main. Nichole Kidman, talking Paddington, Parenting, Beauty all in one morning!

IMG_7888 I finally met my Nicole Kidman, 47,  my favorite  Oscar winning "movie star", In NYC at the Lincoln Film Center. She wore her hair straight  a black high-neck blouse beneath her black suit, which had a gold chain  and beautiful rings. She was right on time, no she was early!! I love that she was early Brooke Shield's was late for my last event.  

The movie Paddington was funny and had a good family value lesson. That being said I had a chance to speak to Nichole. I asked her about her relationship with Suri, Tom Cruises and Katie Holmes daughter, myself being a Mom and a step Mom, I was curious. She looked at me surprised then said "ahh, no no I have no relationship with her". I was shocked since her and Tom have children from their marriage which would make them 1/2 brother and sister to Suri Cruise.  Can you believe Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter is already eight years old? I think Suri would really like the movie Paddington. It was adorable and for all ages and Nichole plays a villain. I also find it hard to believe that she does not have a relationship with them since they are all in NYC. Let's talk beauty, this woman did not have the one line on her face, her skin was flawless. She  attributes it to  a peaceful life. “We have a very easy, warm, peaceful life. I think that is something that I always wanted and I was heading towards and I did not know how to find it – and I found it now,” Her hair is naturally curly now she straightens it,  very thick and coifed perfectly, many product and spray. She looked beautiful in person, and reads well in pictures.

How To Train Your Dragon 2′ Screening with America Ferrera and Kit Harington

As a parent, I liked this movie and the lesson, follow your passion, find your dream, and sometimes it does not always have a happy ending, and collateral damage does happen in the pursuit. It was a good movie I do agree with the reviews, of a four 1/2 star rating. In the theater there were some young kids and one little girl said " I just closed my eyes, when it looked scary". We all liked the movie and it's defiantly worth seeing. This is my experience at the screening, meeting and seeing two of my favorite stars.

 Picture from Games of Thrones HBO hit series starring Kit Harington as Jon Snow, also starring in How To Train Your Dragon 2 he plays  Kit Harington as Eret, a dragon trapper who sells captured dragons.  My daughter asked him what it like to be in two hits, TV and animation? He said it was a great question and likes TV better so he can use his own expressions. Kit's energy was very intense and focused, he took his time answering all the questions  seemed very happy to meet and greet the audience.

As I was watching America, I could not help but notice a large security guard standing very close at hand. I am sure it had to do with the "crazy" who dove under America's dress at Cannes. At this event she looked very beautiful in her black PANTS!  She told us it took three years to make this movie.

To begin with Mayim Bialik is a Doctor off screen also, with a  PhD in neuroscience, an active blogger on the  Jewish parenting site, Kveller.com, relating stories and viewpoints of bringing up her two children, and now a published author, with  her first vegan cookbook, “Mayim’s Vegan Table ”r first vegan cookbook, “Mayim’s Vegan Table.  I liked her, she was very personable and approachable. During question and answers nobody mentioned the breastfeeding incident. I love steak, but as a environmentalist I know I need to cut down meat consumption in my family. Just a little bit at a time. I have to be honest, I'm from Boston and The Yankees have never been my favorite team, THE EVIL EMPIRE as we call them in Bawston.  It has caused problems in my marriage, but we came to a mutual understanding, that I will only root against the Yankee's when the RED SOX are playing.  Now living in New York,  being a mother of a Yankee Fan and married to one, I have warmed up to the Yankee's. red soxIMG_3813

I was invited to this Play by The Moms Melissa Gerstein and Denise Albert along with Laura Posada and My Face held an invitation only event at a viewing of Bronx Bombers at Circle in The Square Theater to help spread awareness for the My Face foundation  Laura and  Jorge Posada Foundation has established a restricted fund with our friends at the National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction (NFFR). The NFFR will be running the Mentoring Network for Craniosynostosis patients. Laura Pasoda's mission is to continue as a Board member of the NFFR.  This unique support network has provided families living with Craniosynostosis comfort, advice and knowledge as they begin or continue treatment for their loved ones and has connected families in 34 states across America! I personally thanked The Posada's for there hard work, I have two friends that have benefit from the NFFR. The work that these Doctors do is amazing, they are miracle workers. I loved the play, and my daughter and her friend enjoyed it very much. It was entertaining, funny and had some great historic facts mixed in with comedy at the dream dinner party, I enjoyed it totally and respect the history and the Yankee's.

Ladies let me give you the fashion rundown on Laura Posada, she is one tight package and beautiful, she had a bandage style dress on wearing a "eye popping" necklace, the Yankee logo made of DIAMOND, and why not! I think I would have bra and panties made of diamonds to match if I were her. 

We had a great evening begining at NYY Steak House and then and going to see the play. YOU will  have a laugh and learn the sanitized history of the Yankee's. This RED SOX fan liked it and so will you.

Julia Corso and Daniela Litiza were invited to meet Laura Marano star of Disney Channel series Austin and Ally, who has been named 2013 Trick-or-Treat Ambassador of UNICEFF.  They attended a party at Dylans Candy Bar, NYC  with Laura Marono, learning about the importance of kids helping kids and the global work that UNICEF to aid in medicines, nutrition, clean water. I just love going to the movies, I love the shared experience with my family and being in a theater, AMC Loews 34th Street 14 – New York, New York 10001 – AMC Theatresespecially if its a thrilling movie, I love the 3D, the smell of popcorn,the big screen, going to the theater, finding a seat, putting on my 3D glasses and being transported. I know  today the home experience is so good, on your comfortable couch, with snacks, the family and the dog on your lap. It's sometimes hard to justify the  time ,effort and expense, to go to the movies, but trust me this movie is worth it.  The Wolverine | Official Movie Site | View Trailers | NOW PLAYING  The action scenes had us screaming and cheering in and  out of our seats. Hugh Jackman was exciting, his true energy and high frequency jumped off the screen. He humanizes, a comic character. If your not familiar with the comic, you will still enjoy this movie. This  does have , blood, a little swearing in the right places and a great story line. I liked the message about Karma and repaying debts and that sometimes things aren't as they appear and people have different motives. I think this  can open up conversation with your children in a exciting current way. In the movie the car of choice was the Audi  The Wolverine Teams Up With Audi For Promotional Content | Comicbook.com , I am in love with this car. The cars World Class reputation delivered! The chauffeured Audi picked us up and drove us around all day. We went to lunch and shopped on Madison Ave, as the car waited for us outside. Okay as a NewYorker, we see it all and are so use to seeing beautiful cars that most people don't even notice. I have to tell you my experience, everywhere we went in this car, heads were turned people even snapped pictures. We felt like movie stars, this car Audi delivered the whole experience. The performance of this car on the open road was far superior then my car. I personally would love to buy this car.

The Wolverine, 2013 American-Australian superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Wolverine, starring my favorite Hugh Jackman. I think  this movies one is the best, he brings a adrenalin filled performance that we viewed on the AMC Empire 25 3D theater was thrilling to watch, the claws, even the fashion Viper wore had me reeling. I will be sporting the black leather gloves with gold studs at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2014.

 Okay now lets get to the good part as promised," what Hugh Jackman was really like in person?" The Mamarazzi event hosted by The MOMS Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein  delivered him right to the theater (thanks girls). Security was tight, cameras filming. People snapping pictures. I was so lucky with a random seat I picked, he brushed right by me. He was tall and muscular, smelled very "clean" not heavily cologne, his energy was positive. I did my quick "energy Chakra scan", on him. I felt heat coming from his shoulders, I could tell he had a lot on his mind, he is a thinker, very smart. He handled the media and fans with grace and had a humble confidence. A genuine nice guy, a hard worker, family man. He talked about his family and not being away from them more then two weeks. I liked that. My daughter could not wait to ask him a question. She was brought to the front.

She asked "Would you ever like to be Wolverine?" He answered and said "sometimes!" He said he can get grumpy like anyone,  and  likes the power of the claws, all he does is have to show the claws. "There are so many areas of that Japanese story, I love the idea of this kind of anarchic character, the outsider, being in this world – I can see it anesthetically, too – full of honor and tradition and customs and someone who’s really anti-all of that, and trying to negotiate his way. The idea of the samurai, too – and the tradition there. It’s really great. In the comic book he gets his ass kicked by a couple of samurai – not even mutants. He’s shocked by that at first."
