Mississippi designer on her way to greatness, NYFW then PFW soon in your closet!

I love this designer, Marnita Miller  she is the creative genius behind the much-buzzed-about EFABB COLLECTION. Her designs are bold, yet practical. Her use of vibrant colors and unique fabrics create a classic, sophisticated, trendsetting style that is sure to get noticed. Her tailoring skill has gained her a following in the south. 
As a high school graduate this Mississippi-native had high hopes of attending Parson School of Design in New York City but when tragedy struck her family years before, her dreams were met with much reluctance.

Yet, never giving up Marnita’s love for design bloomed into a reality through EFABB COLLECTION when finding her muse in her first granddaughter. It’s her baby, and every piece created is birthed from the heart of this designer with joy, love and endless hours of happiness. She infuses sophistication and wear-ability with hopes of making everyone wearing her designs feel absolutely FABulous….. the collection was so well received and highlighted at NYFW, she was asked to show in PARIS! The entire process, of creativity and pictures from her collection modeled by my daughter Julia Corso, @juliamariecorso showed in VOGUE. Ladies and gentlemen this is proof again to never to give up on your dream. Efabbcollection is more then clothing its a lifestyle.

Marnita’s journey has taken her to New York Fashion Week twice with Art Hearts Fashion and her popularity continues to grow amongst editors and consumers who savor the versatility of her designs.

Marnita’s desire is that her designs will develop styles that will assist in transitioning kids to adolescence teen years. The clothing line range from kids size 6-12 and teen adolescents sizes 2-8. 

Marnita introduced her boys line at Art Hearts Fashions in New York in 2018 and it was well received. Do you ever wonder how the colors we wear are picked? It all starts with the designer and Pantone we will see these colors in nail polishes, blouses shirts, pocketbooks, shoes. Yes Mom's even your kids sneakers are influenced by this!

The Pantone color report features New York Fashion Week Spring 2016 runway designers and their color infatuations along with Pantone’s Top 10 Color picks for the S/S 2016 season. “Colors this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. Additionally, “there are truly no perceivable distinctions in color choices between the men’s and women’s collections, both focus on a desire to breathe and reflect, then play.”

MOMS STRUT, They Walk the Talk for a GOOD CAUSE!:  Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014  a show that is  THE BEST one, its called“Strut: The Fashionable Mom Show,” Mom's and their children walked the runway,  last night at Lincoln Center, it was rocking. People were happy and cheering on all the models. Honestly this was the most FUN fashion show I have attended in all my years of going to fashion week. I liked this show because to me it was real, authentic, and it meant something in the world we all live in. AS a Mom, wife and  Reiki Master, entrepreneur( I wear many hats) and can read and feel energy, I will tell you many "Mommy  Angels" walked the runway last night, not only looking beautiful but helping this year’s theme is “Moms Strut for a Cause.” These "Mommy Angels" as I will call them got their "bums" in high gear. They wiggled, waved, smiled, pranced, danced and made a great show. I loved  Amber Sabathia, entrepreneur, philanthropist, creator and designer of CCandy, as well as wife of the New York Yankees’ CC Sabathia (my husband LOVED chatting with him), strutted with her children for the PitCCh In Foundation, which helps inner-city youth. Other "Mommy Angels" were  Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein of The Moms, and executive produced by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff of SWW Creative were Alexis Stoudemire, wife of the New York Knicks’ Amar’e Stoudemire, actress Alysia Reiner; Laura Posada, wife of retired New York Yankee Jorge Posada; NBC’s Darlene Rodriguez; Victoria Recaño of “Inside Edition,” and Katina Taylor, wife of former NFL star Jason Taylor.

Bloomingdale’s  styled the show, highlighting fall fashion trends from designers such as Ramy Brook, Jay Godfrey, Torn by Ronny Kobo, Yosi Samra, Twenty, JustFab, FabKids, Kay Unger and Zeus+Dione. I liked the fashions, each style captured a setting a Mom will be in, dressy, casual, sporty, and SEXY!!! 

The sponsors of this event were Whirlpool, Cottonelle and Vaseline "Spray and GO" moisturizer.
